While our water repeatedly and effortlessly comes from our water faucets and self-dispensing refrigerators, it’s not that easy for Pastor Nahum and his orphans. They are forever thankful for their water well but retrieving the water from their well involves a repetitive labor intense hand pumping process. Although they have a generator that can provide them the temporary bouts of electricity needed to operate their electric pump for the well there is still one significant need lacking that is preventing them from a painless way to provide running water in Pastor Nahum’s home for his family, orphans, and village.
They need WATER TANKS and PIPES!
Pastor Nahum needs two 200 gallon storage water tanks to provide the water necessary for their bathroom and he needs two more 200 gallon storage water tanks for the kitchen area where he can welcome all of the people in his village to come and enjoy fresh drinking water. Cholera still remains a concern in Haiti making a continuous flow of fresh clean drinking water from Nahum's well a blessing not only for his family and orphans, and school children, but to his entire village. Back to Life Ministries wants to help relieve the constant burden of hand pumping water for Pastor Nahum’s orphans and multiply the blessing of his water well for all of the people in his village. We are asking God to meet this need and we believe through your willingness to respond it will happen.
Pastor Nahum can purchase four 200 gallon water tanks, all of the pipes, and pay for these large tanks to be transported from Port-au-Prince to his village in Mirebalais for only $1007. This amount of money is an absolute impossibility for our brothers and sisters in Haiti but if we all chip in we can easily provide this $1007 for them. Who doesn’t want to participate in such a beautiful life changing blessing with eternal kingdom value?
