Now to get the tanks to actually produce running water you have to position them on platforms like this:
It's not a simple job...Pastor Nahum has worked tirelessly to complete what you see in the picture above. This particular tank provides running water to the bathroom. The work will continue as he prepares more platforms for the other tanks which will provide running water for the kitchen area and for the village.
These super HUGE tanks represent super HUGE blessings to Pastor Nahum's orphans and the people of his village. Back to Life Ministries would like to invite you to continue sharing God's love with the orphans. When the water tanks are filled they have enough water to last for about 3 or 4 days. It works like this...their electric pump pumps the water from the well into the tanks but they need electricity to do this. Until they get enough batteries and solar panels to create self-sustaining electricity to power the pump, they are forced to pay for costly fuel to operate their generator. The money used to buy gas to fuel their generator is money needed to feed hungry tummies.
Will you join Back to Life Ministries to help provide the remaining 5 batteries and 5 solar panels needed to complete their solar electric system? Remember, one battery is $145 and one solar panel is $340. The battery and solar panel work in unison so one set is $485. Donations for one set have been provided. We are taking a team to Haiti next week and we plan to go with Pastor Nahum to the Haiti Home Depot (MSC) in Port au Prince to purchase the battery and solar panel that has already been funded. How great would it be if donations came in for us to purchase all 6 sets when we go next week?!!
