Send Us...For His Glory!

Then I heard the voice of the LORD saying, “Whom shall I send?”…And I said, “Here am I.  Send me!”  Isaiah 6:8

We are just a few home school moms from the Weatherford, Texas area.  No fancy titles or sweet connections.  We just believe God is who He says He is.  He is the Potter sculpting broken pieces like us into something beautiful for His glory and we want to share with you what He is doing in our lives through Haiti because God’s glory cannot be contained. 

God has woven a part of His kingdom into the deepest parts of each of our hearts that none of us ever would have imagined possible and connected us with a pastor from Gilbert, Haiti named Pastor Nahum.

Pastor Nahum has a church, school, and orphanage.  His village is filled with poverty stricken forgotten souls. 

Why are we going? 

We hear our Lord asking, “Whom shall I send?  Who will love these people so dear and close to My heart?  Who will be a vessel of My compassion and love to this forgotten and dying world?”

We say, “We are here Lord.  Send us!” 

This coming July, God has given us the opportunity to go.  We will be hosting VBS (Vacation Bible School) for these precious children, taking them food, medical supplies, and new white polo style uniform shirts for the children who attend Pastor Nahum’s school.  We will disciple, fellowship, pray, and worship Jesus together.  We will learn more about their needs and carry their burdens with them.

How can you help? 

Forgotten by the world, but close to the heart of God, the children at pastor Nahum’s village need the church to respond.  They need to see the love of Jesus in a tangible way.  Let’s be the church to these kids.  Jesus said, “And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.”  Will you help us be the ones to welcome these children in the name of Jesus?    

We invite you all to join us in prayer on behalf of the people at Nahum’s village.  Through your prayers and financial support, you can help send us out to love the least of these, provide the supplies we need to take, and leave them with a love offering.  This is an opportunity for you to pour into God’s kingdom work in Haiti.  All praise and glory to our God who takes the small and insignificant things of this world to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ…the beautiful, life changing, saving, gospel of Jesus our King!

These people are incredibly valuable in God’s eyes.  Let’s show them they are valuable to us too.
