The Next Chapter: 2012 Here We Come!!

WOOHOO!!  Back to Life Ministries is now a tax-exempt organization and just in time for end of the year charitable donations.  Now you can give a year end donation and it will be 100% tax deductible!!  This is also great news for all of you who have recently given to BTL.  The tax-exempt status is backdated to August 9, 2011 when BTL became a non-profit corporation.  This means all donations given since this date will soon receive a gift receipt for tax deduction purposes as well. 

In 2011 we watched God’s love reach the forgotten, lost, poor, and orphaned in Haiti. 

Let’s rewind to highlight a few of the many blessings God showered on our Haitian brothers and sisters over this last year through your support to BTL.  Fruit was produced from the overflow of your love and generosity.  All glory to God!!

     Foundation for the BTL orphan home was built…

Two small rooms were added to Nahum’s home which temporarily allowed his orphans to move out of the tents.

Pastor Nahum got a car!  It blesses his whole village...if someone gets sick he can drive them to the hospital now.  And, I'm learning to drive in Haiti :)

Two storage rooms were built for BTL

 And 2011 ended with the BTL revival and the 13^th Anniversary of Gilbert Christian Church complete with weddings, baptisms, a big meal to feed all of the people on the last day of the revival, and Christmas stockings filled with gifts for all of the BTL life orphans thanks to Mrs. Davis’ 2^nd grade class.

      Motivated by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Back to Life Ministries is eager to embrace the next chapter God has authored for 2012!  Through BTL ordinary people like me and you can join together to love our sisters and brothers in Haiti.  When we choose to do this our lives blend with their lives creating a beautiful story…a story where the hungry are fed, the oppressed are set free, the homeless receive shelter, and the Good News of our Lord Jesus brings light, healing, and life into the darkest places. 

It’s more than a beautiful story…it’s an opportunity to be swept away in God's grace, to live for His kingdom, and store up eternal treasures now. 

Here are some of the current needs at BTL that we can help meet now and in this upcoming year through prayer and donations:

• 6 batteries and 6 solar panels for BTL orphanage solar electric system

• 2 doors and 4 windows for the two storage rooms

• 5 large water tanks to make running water available  

• The BTL orphanage construction project:  We need to put walls and a roof on the orphanage foundation.

REMEMBER THE JOY THEY HAD WHEN THE CHURCH BEGAN THEIR NEW HOME AND BUILT THE FOUNDATION?  LET'S COMPLETE THEIR ORPHAN HOME WITH WALLS AND A ROOF AND ADD TO THEIR JOY IN 2012!!
